What is Women Auther Awards?

Women Auther Awards is a collaborative initiative by JK Paper and Times Of India to acknowledge and celebrate Women Authors and bring them into the limelight that they so deserve. We aim to build a yearly platform to recognise and award women authors and encourage more women to take up writing.

Till when can I submit my entries?

The Entries are open till 25th of December, 2019.

Can I submit more than one entry?

Yes, you are welcome to submit more than one entry if you have written more than one book.

How should I submit my entries?

Kindly fill the nomination form based on whether you are nominating your self or another woman author.

Can I submit an entry if my book is not published yet?

No, the first awards is only for authors who have at least one book already published.

Is a hardcopy of the book required?

hardcopy of the book is not required at the time of nomination

Can I submit an entry for multiple categories?

Yes, You can submit your books in multiple categories. You would be required to make multiple submissions in order to enter multiple books for the judging.

Can publishers or friends and family submit or nominate Women Authors?

Yes, There is a section in the website where publishers, friends, family, etc. can nominate authors. The form is similar to the self-author nomination form other than collection of their information. We welcome everyone to nominate their favourite women authors for this award.

When will the winners be declared?

The award function is scheduled for the 8th of March, 2020. Any change will be intimated on the website.

How will the winners be selected?

The entries will first be shortlisted by a team  thereafter shared with the jury for final selection of the winners.

What happens if I am shortlisted / win?

If your book is shortlisted, you will be contacted by our team and informed of the same. Information regarding next steps will be informed at the time.

What happens to if I do not win?

You are welcome to try again for the next edition of Women Auther Awards.
